CUET Path (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the CUET Path mobile app and website. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data we collect

  • Account data: Your name, email address, and password (hashed).
  • Onboarding data: Your category (General/OBC/SC/ST), selected CUET subjects, target colleges and courses, exam date, and daily study hours.
  • Practice data: Questions attempted, answers, time taken per question, session timestamps.
  • Device data: Operating system, app version, crash logs. We do not collect device identifiers.

How we use your data

  • To generate your adaptive study plan and readiness score.
  • To send you session reminders and streak notifications (you can opt out).
  • To improve the question bank and adaptive algorithm.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.

Data we do not collect

We do not collect your location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any data unrelated to CUET preparation. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete all personal data within 30 days. Practice history is retained in anonymised form for improving the product.

Third-party services

  • Razorpay: Processes payments. We do not store card numbers.
  • Neon (PostgreSQL): Hosts our database in ap-southeast-1.
  • Expo: Distributes the mobile app and push notifications.

Your rights

You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, or request deletion of your account, by emailing hello@cuetpath.in. We will respond within 7 days.

Children

CUET students are typically 17–18 years old. We require users to confirm they are 18+ or have parental consent before creating an account, in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (2023).
