CUET 2027 Study Plan: A Month-by-Month Roadmap
A practical preparation roadmap from syllabus mapping to timed mocks, with clear monthly and weekly milestones.

A good CUET 2027 plan starts with the programme you want, not a random pile of question papers. Check the official subject combination for every target course, map those papers to the current syllabus, and build a calendar that leaves enough time for full timed mocks. Confirm the final 2027 pattern and dates when NTA publishes the information bulletin.
Phase 1: map the syllabus and build your baseline
Use the first month to list every unit in each required paper and take one diagnostic test per subject. Mark units as strong, developing, or weak. The goal is not a flattering score; it is a reliable starting point that tells you where your study hours can create the most improvement.
- Confirm course-specific paper combinations on official university portals
- Break every subject into syllabus units and high-yield topics
- Take one untimed diagnostic before beginning revision
- Reserve weekly slots for weak topics from day one
Phase 2: learn, retrieve, and correct
Spend the middle months in short cycles: learn one concept, answer CUET-style questions without notes, then review every error. Active recall is more useful than repeated reading because it exposes exactly what you cannot yet retrieve under pressure.
- Mon–Thu: concept review plus focused MCQs
- Friday: mixed practice from completed units
- Saturday: repair mistakes and revise weak notes
- Sunday: timed sectional test and weekly review
Phase 3: move from chapters to full papers
Once most of the syllabus is covered, shift the balance towards timed testing. Full papers reveal problems that chapter practice hides: pacing, fatigue, careless errors, and poor decisions under negative marking. Review should take at least as long as the mock itself.
Final six weeks: rehearse the real exam
Run complete 50-question, 60-minute simulations for each selected paper using the latest confirmed NTA rules. Keep the time of day, attempt strategy, and review process consistent. Do not chase a new resource every week; repeat the cycle that produces measurable improvement.
- Two or three full papers per week across your selected subjects
- Log errors by topic and cause, not only by score
- Revisit recurring mistakes within 24–48 hours
- Reduce new learning during the final week and protect sleep
Use a weekly scorecard
Track completion, accuracy, mock score, and the number of repeated mistakes. A single test can swing up or down, so judge progress from a multi-mock trend. Your dashboard can guide preparation, but official NTA and university notices remain the final source for exam and admission decisions.
